Hey all, came upon a maple 24" neck and am trying to figure out what colour would go well with it.
Below are two thoughts I had...
thinking of these...
I have two ragged sunburst jazzmaster's one with a maple neck and black pick guard, so I am leaning towards something closed to the metallic ko colour from the Johnny marr sig. I am also open to other ideas, please provide pics as examples, google usually returns a shit ton of terrible affinity strats with maple necks.

Have always thought that Sonic Blue and maple looks ace. Lots of pics if you google "sonic blue maple guitar".

I think that of the two you show, the fiesta red one looks better with the maple neck, although I might go for brown tort instead of red on the guard. That said, I agree with Thom that sonic blue could be cool too.

basic rule of thumb with maple is to go for the fender 50's era non metallic custom colors, something pastel.
I would go for something anacronistic for your mustang, like shell pink or surf green. there are too many red, white, blue and sunburst mustangs.

It's not
Barbie pink, jbuonacc... it's '50s refrigerator pink, same kinda vibe as daphne blue to me.

Yeah, the bright pastilley colours like daphne blues, salmon and shell pinks look great with maple necks. As do sunbursts.

it's true. I say that or this one
with the other colors you should remember that the jag dressing room app has a fair bit of tint on the maple neck and it will look different with less tint/aging.
