stratty instrumental called "Road To Tabriz"

Post by batsbrew »

"Road To Tabriz"

preview of an upcoming all-instrumental album i'm considering releasing.
i've got 6 of these finished, about 4 more almost done.

this one is a rock instrumental, fast tempo with spacey breakdown, lots of strat tones, jamming bass line, harmony guitar parts, a bit progressive.

any mix suggestions as i get this thing dialed in?

Some archeologist suggested that Garden of Eden must have been located in Tabriz, the history of civilization in the city has been dated to the first millennium B.C

this one is a more progressive offering, and true to it's influences (brand x, happy the man, cosmosquad, stuff like that) it's more of a one-way journey...

it's supposed to be a trip.......'road to tabriz'.......

and when you go along a road, normally you don't double back...
you just keep going, seeing new sights, learning new things along the way.
thats the way this particular piece was written.

the trick is, to keep the 'riffs', melodies, sounds and grooves changing often enough to keep the trip short, and sweet.

non repetitive, just interesting.
that was the goal, anyways!

Ah, Tabriz. Who can forget the exotic beauty of its railway station?

I liked this tune. It's weird you don't mention Wishbone Ash as an influence because in places your stuff reminds me so strongly of their instrumental stuff.
