$900 dollars is a lot of money for a Mexican guitar. I think if you're around a G it should be Made in the USA or maybe something really well made out of Japan.
Fideli'tron sounds like a rockabilly guy from the '50s who's not all that bothered with casual sex... boring.

Man in like 2009 Fender put all sorts of guitars up to $900, like the MIM Classic Series Strats/Teles were up from $699 to $949. AVs were around the high 900s back when I got one and they're like $1500 now... that shit got out of hand fast and recently.

Yeah I haven't crossed that mental barrier. Also alot of the guitars like the Classic Player Jaguar are closer to a G retail but then you look on Craigslist and it's $400-550, which is where they probably should be in the first place. Fender raised prices in the middle of a huge recession and were like FUCK IT, we got these kids in the Fender headlock anyways.
My god I love the look of the cabronita, and I'm glad they've gone down the MiM route, even if they are still kinda expensive. At least they're not above the £1K mark anymore...
I like it . A little pricy for what it is but i like it . I would have no doubt if the pickups are more GRETSCH than TV Jones since.....Well..... Fender DOES own Gretsch... Just sayin,
At least it's not he 4600 dollar custom shop price or the 1400 dollar aniversary price, the only alternative before was to build your own. Which sounds easy enough.
How much are those pick up covers? My retrotrons are looking a bit cheap and cheesy.
MOD'S NOTE ULTRA VENT: The apostrophe in the title has been forcibly removed.
"Mexican Cabronita's" without the word "Cabronita" modifying either a noun or acting as an enclitic (affecting a following noun phrase) is grammatically incorrect, in the same way that the word "Tele's" without modifying anything after it has been frequently misused as of late.
Just to set the record, apostrophe + the letter "s" as a noun's suffix denotes either one of the following...
(1) The genitive case ending of a noun to indicated that it possesses the following noun or noun phrase: "OMG the Cabronita's pickups sure aren't teh filtertrunz."
(2) A contraction of the the present tense form of the verb "to be" or the present tense use of "to have" when following in third person pronoun (he's, she's, it's) : "I think it's made in Mexico" or "She's been acting strange", respectively.
(3) The only exception in modern English to the above is when an apostrophe is used to make a single letter plural, i.e. "Paulk1 spells the word mod with two or three d's, as "modd" lolz."
The only other place I've seen extensive misusage of the stupid word "Tele's" without modifying anything after it is on the TDPRI.
STOP IT RIGHT NOW. THIS IS SHORTCALE.

Teles are the easiest DIY build-- No reason to pay extra for inferior pups.
Pretty sure war moth even makes a cabronita's body now.
