Older Fenders have much more variance in the shape of the neck pocket. You can't judge the setup by the bridge height, you need to judge it by the action. In terms of the bridge that's based on the bridge height relative to the neck height and pitch, not the bridge height alone. Check your action on the lower, mid, and high frets across all the strings and judge your setup on that.
