Where in Manchester are you going? I went to Dawsons on Monday and the guy said that they had no idea when they are getting them in

I've still not been to PMT Salford since it changed from Sound Control, even though it's the closest guitar shop to me. I just don't like having to walk along the dual carriageway to get to it.

Yeah, it's a wank location. It's not much better driving, as if you're coming from the Manchester end, you have to drive past it, round the headfuck roundabout, and then miss the turn off for it, and do it all again. It's a fairy decent shop however, and the staff are pretty friendly. Needs a booth though, so no one has to listen to my blooz

Gamlins in Cardiff have a few in stock

The Jaguars were noticably heavier than the Jazzmasters. Played one of each. Fit and finish seemed pretty decent.

Fuckers, when I asked about them a few weeks ago if they would have them in I got the reply of no way squier stuff is shite and never sells routine. Cranes said September would be their earlies Fender drop off of new stock.
Might pop down on my days off and try the jag. Kinda tempted by a white Jag but I've no idea if I would get on with the neck. Let alone finding the ££ to buy one.

Yeah, I heard the same from Cranes too

Gamlins is a terrible shop. Disinterested and informed, always.

Nobles in Whitchurch is great, though.

I want to see that. You need to add a gold anodized or red tort pickguard.

Went up there the other day, had an acoustic strum of them and I really love 'em. They just don't fit what I'm going for at the moment. Now, the goldtop Gretsch Electromatic Jet through an Orange TH30 really grabbed me, though...

I know I'm going to regret not buying one when they all disappear in the next two months and start selling for £280 or something on eBay.

Agree with Gamlins, Cranes isn't much better, it's not the place it was.
Not been in Nobles for years, I'll ahve to pop inthere and that other place down by the Coal Exchange, they were a nice bunch when I popped in years ago, bought a Tone Zone for £15

£170
Fucksake, i wish we got a 'sale' in the UK. Instead of walking into a shop then waking up two hours later in a daze with an empty wallet and a used condom hanging out of your arsehole.
