I picked up my AVRI Jaguar from GC online. You can score some amazing deals because the stores often don't know the value of what they are selling.

I love the orange color. You often see these in black with red tort. Nice score.

The originals seem to have kept a good buzz over time, so I am hoping I like it. It has a lot of cool features. (Dual humbuckers and a string through body.) The orange finish seems really cool too. :)

I watched that video after I paid for it because I heard he used one in the video.. The poor thing got Kurdtz.

I hope it looks as good in person. The one picture option isn't very detailed. It looks nice, but that is a far away shot.

It was neat to find details on this from SS's wiki. It was the only place I could find colors that these came in.

I didn't know they came in orange. I only have seen the black ones and the weird Korean ones with the stripes. (And one or two of the small guard ones.) Never in orange though until this.

I got nervous and called Connecticut to check on it. They said it is boxed up with case and ready to ship Monday. I should see it Wednesday since I paid the extra $10 for two day shipping. :)

I wonder what kind of case it is? Would be awesome if it was a Fender one. Probably a Gator one or something though. :) A case is a case!

That is a sexy bitch. SEXY indeed. It seriously makes me regret not flying to the Virgin Islands in March to buy a refin Seafoam Toronado that was being sold there.

Stop teasing us with photos like that. Sea Foam Green is so hot! I don't have any desire for a Toronado until I saw that.

The mint guard actually does more magic for me than the body finish, not that I'd kick either out of guitar-bed.

Just got a call in from Guitar Center they were packing the guitar up to send to me. Unfortunately (but not a surprise to me because I read about this issue) they had sold the case it came in seperately prior to me buying it and didn't have a used case that would fit it. They are sending me a "nice Fender gig bag." Not a huge deal to me because I didn't even know it came with a case until after I paid. I have heard of worse, like them selling new guitars cases with the wrong guitar so Gibby lovers got a COA for a different guitar than the one they bought. (And Gibson makes getting a new one hard I hear.) I also saw some posts of people buying used cases and finding old straps for the gutar it came with and original old hang tags.

In the end I got it because it looks like a cool guitar, not because I wanted a cool case. LOL Still... those Guitar Center guys.

He did tell me that the Toronado is in great shape, so that is good to hear. :)
