Anyone experienced in installing a sustainer in London area?

Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

Post by bethy1234 »

Evening Jammers,
Does anybody know of Anyone experienced in installing a sustainer in London area?. I'm about to buy either a sustainiac or a fernadez 401 and i need to have it installed in my Strat. Obviously I want to keep the costs down and I will consider all recommendations.

Thanks for looking.

They are really straight forward to install, any tech should be able to do the job (basic routing & wiring skills). I'd considered installing a rear 9 volt battery box and a cover plate to access the circuit board which the on/off & pitch switch are located on. The circuit board has some pots that are adjustable, you'll want these accessible from the rear so you can fine tune it to your liking... if not, you'll just have to pull the pickguard off a few times until you are happy with the settings.
