Neck pickup sounds so nice on the JM. It's got a tune-o-matic fitted, right? (apologies if you went over that, at current volume I couldn't hear the talkie part well so I just skimmed through it)

Sounds good. I like AVRI pickups. You could try Lollar or Seymour Duncan Antiquity IIs if you want something else.

I played a custom Shop Jazzmaster today in Seafoam green. I really need to get going on my JM build. It's the only guitar I am still missing in my arsenal.

Red Witch Fuzzgod.
God damnit, so jealous.

The same shop here in NZ that carries Red Witch also have a 50th Anniversary Jag in LPB. I really want both (but really can't afford either).

I'm nominating you as was worst noob ever.

Lovely demo mate, always a fan of some gentle jazz guitar and warm fluffy jazz tone.

I loved these also. A man in love with the sound of his own playing is a nice thing to see.

If any of you are in Michigan, I'd be down to jam! Glad you liked my review. It was my first "real" one with an external mic. What did you guys think of the sound? I know my voice was a little quiet. For some reason the video file was like 2 gigs. Never using final cut pro for that again. Not that I know how to use it anyways. The GF goes to CCS, not me.
