if you want it as a humbucker then
black and white together and put plastic around them so they dont come together with the switch.
put the green and ground cable to the middle of the switch
and then red to the other middle.
i can take a picture if you want?
this works for me on my stang!

I wouldn't put the bare wire to the switch. It is the plate ground. Just the green (the pickup's ground) should be good enough.
