Quick fix for wah.

Post by Progrockabuse »

My vox wah's switch has died and I need it for Recording a hendrixy thing for a mates project tomorrow. How would I wire it so it was always on so I can stick it in my bypass looper as a temp fix?

Which model of Vox wah? Post pics of switch, or at least tell us how many lugs. Sorry, was at the jam last night.

no worries, it's a standard v847. the switch has 3 lugs on it.

no biggie if not, contemplating checking cash generator and seeing if they've got a cheap one or a crybaby around.

3 lugs: IIRC, one has two wires, one going to the input and the other to the PCB; the centre lug goes to the output; the other lug goes to the board. Take the wire from the centre lug and connect it to the lug that only has a wire to the PCB.
