Yeah it's the only electric he's using on his current tour. He also plays an acoustic on that tour. Saw him a couple of weeks ago in Melbourne - was a good show and his all-girl backing band were great.

Yup, he pretty much plays this Tele exclusively on his new/solo stuff. He's got matching blue pedals as well

I always appreciated Jack's obsessive need to color coordinate everything.

+1
I fucking love Jack White. I'm not even that arsed about his music in any big way, but I love his passion for the guitar, for music, for promoting otherwise ignored acts. He's brilliant. His attitude toward music is fantastic.

I like that he appreciates the importance of image in rock music. Like, there's a difference between "caring more about the music than a haircut, maaaan " and going onstage in your pajamas and shit.
The drummer of his girl band is/was Carla from Autolux, which is awesome.

Agreed. His playing is a bit meh but he has his shit together in other areas.
I always saw Jack White as a guitarist for non guitarists, like Cobain. Which is cool, any shitkicker should be inspired to go down Cash Converters, spend £60 on a guitar and write some songs. Thats how great things happen.

Fingers crossed he gets one of those Dan Armstrong Plexis and we get to see the inside of all his pedals like those How Shit Works books.

Probably means he'd play in see through plastic clothes too (like Iggy Pop), so maybe not
