If the vista series were Pokemon the Venus XII would be the most badass/hardest to catch. I waited ages for one of those to appear.

@DanHeron - You can coil-split the pickup on the musicmaster so it's a bit more versatile than it appears. I actually prefer it to my 1978 Musicmaster.

Ah that's pretty good. Although I've heard the Musicmaster guitars aren't quite the same standard as the rest of the series?

I've always liked the MM bass. In pink.

I had a Venus and didn't think the quality was anything special either, are they Chinese too?

The Venus, Venus XII, Supersonic, and Jagmaster were Japanese. The Musicmaster and Musicmaster bass were Chinese.

the music master is one of the most fun guitars i've ever owned.

But i played some strats and tele american deluxes the other day and now i'm convinced all other guitar are made like shit anyway..
