I have other pictures, but I consider them too 'artsy' as I was just experimenting with my wife camera this past weekend.

Used to lust after them and the 6-string equivalent when they came out... I like the control plate on yours.
I had JUST gotten teh Kurdtz real bad and wanted a Mustang with a locked trem/bridge bucker, and then they came out with those... nobody had a word for it back then but I FELT like "fuuuuuuuu"
Welcome

It's interesting that the MM bass uses a single coil P-bass pickup. I had the Seymour Duncan version in my Bronco a while back and it didn't work well due to the string spacing being off.

Thanx. I put the control plate on mainly because I didn't like the way it tapered at that end. Besides, chrome makes everything look better.paul_ wrote:Used to lust after them and the 6-string equivalent when they came out... I like the control plate on yours.

Honestly, that was what attracted me to it was the p'up. I thought it was a SD Quarter Pounder single coil. I figured whats the worst that could happen, a crappy bass and a cool pickup.moore65 wrote:It's interesting that the MM bass uses a single coil P-bass pickup. Never played the guitar version. Matter of fact, never even played (or seen) any of the other Vista series, with the exception of the Venus 12. But that was about 10 years ago, in another life.blane wrote:welcome. If the bass version is half as fun to play as the guitar version i can see why it is your #1.
