WTF. Very interested in this.. looks like it can do dry, plus 3 different octaves?? If it's polyphonic, I'm buying TWO.

Gah, from HC forum:

For those who were thinking of ordering either of these...

"Hi,i am sorry to tell you the mooer pedals"Pure Octave、Blue Comp " are not available at the moment, because the MOOER company recall all this two modes to make further revision and process improvement, they stop producing "Pure Octave、Blue Comp ", we just infomed in this morning"

Hopefully it'll still happen?

ShimVerb - £59 at Andertons + shipping
ShimVerb - $88/£54 at MarcMart + free shipping

Obviously it'll take longer from the states, but it's probably a £10 saving.
Would you not get hit with the comedy tax though?

Yeah, £35 is the threshold so anything below that is fine. I got away with the "parts for repair" labelling c. 2007 on Jag parts but it no longer counts any more, and they are HOT on charges these days.

Ooh, Bluesbreaker mk1 clone by the looks of the Blues Crab logo.

Sweet tings, always liked that box.

It's less than that isn't it? (from HMRC website):

Goods Value

£0.01 to £15 - No customs duty - No Import VAT

£15.01 to £135 - No customs duty - Import VAT due

£135.01 and greater - Customs duty due, but waived if the amount calculated due is less than £9 - Import VAT due

You also get stung for an "admin" fee from the post office/courier firm.

Seems to be a bit pot luck whether you get caught though.

I got two sets of electronic components from Tayda Electronics through recently that were marked $40 without any duty to pay.

However annoyingly a guy sent a pedal back for a modification recently and marked it was $100 value, and I got stung with £28 just to accept it. Cunts.

Shit. That sucks.

I'm waiting for about $200 worth of pedals to turn up from Canada. Could get properly fisted for them...

i think its more the admin fee that the postal companies add that is the really stupid thing that gets added when you have to pay tax

I used to find that stuff that was sent via USPS used to slip through with no charges but stuff that was sent via other means would get caught. However, it seems to me that they have become a lot tighter on what comes in.

Are they actually knock-offs or are they the company that actually supplied Vox with the parts in the first place? Always a bit murky with this kind of thing.
