For those who were thinking of ordering either of these...
"Hi,i am sorry to tell you the mooer pedals"Pure Octave、Blue Comp " are not available at the moment, because the MOOER company recall all this two modes to make further revision and process improvement, they stop producing "Pure Octave、Blue Comp ", we just infomed in this morning"
Hopefully it'll still happen?
Would you not get hit with the comedy tax though?Mike wrote:If Uk'ers want to buy them, marcmart.com is also an option - free international shipping.
ShimVerb - £59 at Andertons + shipping
ShimVerb - $88/£54 at MarcMart + free shipping
Obviously it'll take longer from the states, but it's probably a £10 saving.
Yeah, £35 is the threshold so anything below that is fine. I got away with the "parts for repair" labelling c. 2007 on Jag parts but it no longer counts any more, and they are HOT on charges these days.Mike wrote:Dunno, depends. Have ordered a £25 AC Tone (Harley Benton/joyo) from them. a HC'er didn't get taxed.
It's less than that isn't it? (from HMRC website):George wrote:Yeah, £35 is the threshold so anything below that is fine. I got away with the "parts for repair" labelling c. 2007 on Jag parts but it no longer counts any more, and they are HOT on charges these days.
Goods Value

£15.01 to £135 - No customs duty - Import VAT due
£135.01 and greater - Customs duty due, but waived if the amount calculated due is less than £9 - Import VAT due
You also get stung for an "admin" fee from the post office/courier firm.
Seems to be a bit pot luck whether you get caught though.

Are they actually knock-offs or are they the company that actually supplied Vox with the parts in the first place? Always a bit murky with this kind of thing.h8mtv wrote:Making knock off Vox heads now too.
