Westone Concord 1, short scale

Post by sollophonic »

Just joined, and I hope this is in the right part of the forum, but I thought I'd post some short scales that I own or have had through my hands with repairs.

First up, Westone Concord 1.

24" scale, Matsumoku made Japanese guitar. These are sweet instruments, easy to play and with a tone and vibe of their own. Joins my other two Westones

Got a Squier Cyclone incoming, so I'll post pics when it arrives.

I also had this 1959 3/4 scale Melody Maker on my workbench recently. Was a bit of a mess when it arrived.

New nut, pickup, bridge, tuners, strings, set up later

In serious love with both of those. Very much approve of the P90 addition to the modded ssmm.

Welcome!

Nice Concord! What other two Westones do you own? Great guitars. Welcome to the forum.

A very weary Thunder 1A, which I got for next to nothing but had to rebuild

And a virtually pristine Thunder Jet, which I got off ebay for £51 plus an amp, which I sold for £25.

So this one was not only a bargain, but is also a keeper

I had a similar Westone to the Thunder, as my second guitar and loved it. Wish I never got rid.... Stupid Stupid Stupid.

Love that first one, really nice !!!

I can't imagine anything much mo fine. That MM is dead sexy. I'd love to clone it with a huge bat neck.

that melody maker is very similar to my first guitar, although mine was full length for that model, with a single coil in the bridge, obvz.

love the black westone. vereyh kewl
