If you're talking about the pickguard screw holes I use toothpicks for that.

So I messaged the fellow on eBay who I bought the mutilated mustang from with a picture of it now and he replied..

"Hi Austin,

That is awesome!- joined and filled so clean. It's great to see the old beater come back to life.
