At first everyone was 'shoop', but it's listed on the Japanese stores and looks real.

It's gonna cost $269, which is a few bob for an overdrive pedal with stupid writing on.

Wouldn't be my font of choice, but I salute the sentiment.

It's the sort of thing builders stick on the pcb as a snidey comment to reverse-engineerers. To put it outside on the box is lame.

I like it, although I'd rather the footswitch be bellow the writing.

Still I'm never going to buy one, they're too pricey.

He did support the hype, I bet this new one also comes with goo, and in 2 or 3 years will be discontinued... it's just another way to get more attention and pedals sold.

The jacks and switch positions are really bad, and the pedal looks way worse then the others. I bet it sounds good for what it is thought, i have to admit to that.

This. The position of the jacks and switch are more concerning than the, admittedly bollocks, writing.

I doubt I'd be looking at picking one up for $269 anyways....

Far more likely for me tbh. Although I might request a custom one with bollocks writing. Or append my own.

Odd wording. Like Japanese-English. Is the Klon Japanese originally?

It's one decent graphic print away from looking cooler than 90% of hammond-boxed pedals you see these days. Pedals had more style back in the day.

This just looks like something a guy made in his room as a one-off.

I think, like Tim says, if it had been placed a little less conspicuously then it would carry more wit. Smack bang on the front there it seems a bit OTT - seems to be asking for my sympathy - the man who made a pedal that some people think is the best ever made....poor guy. Poor guy who can pretty much charge what he likes because of the cruel fetishisation of his product....Not much sympathy here. But maybe he has some artistic integrity and genuinely resents the hype?
