NPD Sean Ryan Custom Joker Mayo

Post by HNB »

Picked up my second SRC pedal. I saw Sean (h8mtv) post a pic of the etching he did to get the Joker image on the pedal and really liked it. Lucky me I was able to trade some stuff to get it from him. It is a clone of the Skreddy Mayo pedal. Excellent fuzz sounds. I will do a demo later. Here are some pictures.

To me, one of the aspects I like about Sean's pedals (aside from how good they sound) is there finish. I like how each one is sort of different and have interesting color and art on them. Mass produced pedals with stock consistent images are fine, but these just look more fun to me.

Nice. Also interesting that the box is 'upside down'.

Maybe to help with the chemical etching probably?

It is a little easier to etch just the lids, also the sides are slightly sloped and I prefer the plugs to slightly slope down rather than up, but that's just my preferences.
