New accidental amp day

Post by finboy »

went in for strings, this was 50% off, customer return with a minor crack in the top (plays fine, 1 year warranty just in case)

now I sound like andy from proguitarshop minus the skill

now I am trying to sell my F-50 mesa, but i have no idea what it is worth, thoughts?

Yeah, I know I'm supposed to be looking at the amp, but that Telemaster is mind-blowing.

I finally got the tele hybrid mustang bridge working on it, so I can officially call it done. The guitar works like a charm, even though it took years to get right

By far still the tastiest-looking resident contraption here on ss.org, now made more awesome by the addition of a Deluxe.

Really happy for you, finboy.

The DRRI is an awesome amp...I A/B'ed it with the Supersonic 22 in the shop and the DRRI came out on top. It's clear without being shrill, and is nice and portable.

Funny you should mention a Mesa F-50, because that was an accidental NAD for me too. I went in for a mic stand, and walked out with an F-50 that was £700UK second-hand. Not sure if that price is a helpful indication of how much they go for where you are, but they're really nice amps too. Loud as hell and sound great.

At least $600 USD on ebay, last I checked. Eventually I'll get around to selling mine, but shipping a 60 pound monstrosity scares me a bit.

Kind of this one...

http://shortscale.org/forum/viewtopic.p ... &start=160

I will probably do a dedicated thread on it later so it is easier to find.

Nice amp, but yeah. I doubt I could approve of that guitar any more than I already do. Maples, bound and blocked, 72 custom esque pickguard. Approve, approve, approve. If I had to say something negative it would be I'd hard tail it, and get a humbucky in there. Well, probably get some one to do it for me really as I'm pretty unskilled.
Awesome though. Dedicated thread nao!!!!
