Custom Scratchplates in the UK?

Post by MrJamesBrown »

So I basically need an SG scratchplate cutting. The original one on my '72 had the pickup holes messed with, and the screws on my Allpartsa replacement don't line up so it's held on with electrical tape! Does anyone know of somewhere that could cut me a new one if I sent them the original to trace?

Usually I'd recommend Dazbootman pickguards, but they seem to be shut down for the rest of the year.

I've used this place twice:

No problems with the guards themselves, but the customer service was slow/needed prodding. The second guard I ordered got 'lost in the post' twice so I had to go down to Orpington in Kent and collect the thing. These things are pretty cheap, so I reckon it's worth a punt.
