That is cool. I like the history/mojo this thing seems to have. It is like one of those beat up mutts where I just have a soft spot for it.... and it plays and sounds really nice.

Thanks..Every time you see it it's different. We may have talked about this guitar a few years ago in another forum. I gave the humbucker time but it hasn't grown on me. I really like the red lace sensors though. I think its a dean pat baker humbucker. I wanted a jb or something normal but my friend who works on it wanted to surprise me. It would be better suited if i played hair metal. That is why he thought i'd love it because its weird. The new bridge is great and the new tuners are great also. I'd really like to put a bare knuckle pickup and be done with it. It could also use a giant band-aid! Ha!

It is a fun work in progress to be sure. J's sunburst Jazzy with all the stickers was probably like that. BJ's Fernandes was like that for sure too. Different stickers at different times. Helps you date any photos of it.

I swapped the Peavey pickups in here. I figured out the tuners were Planet Waves auto trimming locking tuners and emailed the company. They sent me a replacement part FOR FREE! Very rare to see such great customer service. Cheers to them. Here is it with the new blackout look.

I'd lose the stickers myself, love black on black Strats.
I've got a mutt going, First Act Strat body, Affinity neck (with big headstock) All it needs is paint and assembly, ha. Now winter is here. Takes me forever to get anything done.
