Another MJT Build - a Strat this time.

Painting? Routing? Set-up tips? Or just straight-up making a guitar from scratch? Post here, and post pics!

Was it a Garrard 410? That's the only possession I have left of any perceived value, plus it's ex-radio 1 and used by er, y'know, some bloke.

I've been thinking of shifting it to fund an MJT Jaguar build. I have so many questions.

I am happy to answer your questions. For instance: no, it was a Michell Engineering Hydraulic Reference turntable.

I've reread that post a number of times trying to work out what the fuck I was on about. I think (looking at the dates) it should have read:

This was my first thought also, but thinking about it, as Hurb said, I think it will look good once the pups and knobs are in.
The whole thing looks ace.

IMHO with a classy colour the more restrained tort is the thing.

Fuck that Tort!

I LOVE the neck though, seriously gorgeous. And the body is very nice. Do the right thing and put a mint pickguard on it you heathen bastard.

At the very least don't go for red tort, it'll look worse.

I am jealous - I had serious lust for a Strat a little while back that I'd supressed back again until now.

Sat at the Parcelforce depot waiting for me, but I need to pay £60 comedy tax. Which I don't have.
