my friend Mike, just got this black one in the mail from Zzounds.com this morning. he is sending it back monday. he said that if he puts hardly any pressure on the high E string it comes off the fretboard.
Is that a "classic custom"? my 91 les paul custom 57 ri has become my go to axe.

what did you pay for the white les paul?

HOG has them on sale next saturday at a Guitar Expo with Gibson Rep for 599.99 printed price. that usually means 499.99 when the rep is in house.

its on the last page

I paid $799, I think, the usual price. It bites that I could have gotten it for that much less elsewhere, but you know, I love mine so much that I can't be bothered to go through the process of bonding with another guitar.

I'd like to get one of these one day, don't think I'd own a humbucker guitar again. Prefer singles and p90s.

What you running it into?
Fender Classic Player 60’s Stratocaster>East Coast T1 Tele>
Epiphone Les Paul SL>Ovation 12 String acoustic>Peavey Strat DIY Relic

Marshall Origin 20H>James’s old purple 2x10
Marshall MG10 Combo

Actually ordered one of these in ebony. Not as excited as I was when I was expecting my mustang, but I can't wait to get it. Something different, but I'm sure you know this. Cool axes.

Paid 499 new btw.

The process is pretty easy with P90s, flip the two magnets, and then flip the wires at the pickup. The hum is pretty obvious with this one, but in the middle position, it is silent now, so I have that to fall back on. And the sound is simply great! The neck pickup is nice and warm, the bridge pickup sounds like rawk, but the middle position is noiseless and full of clean and bright jangle. Love it.
ZOMBIE BUMPEROONY

I've had a snoop about but not found a properly clear and solid guide to this with 2 p90's.....and i'm a little antsy with experimenting on two decent SD pups.... Just wondering if you used a particular interweb page or instructions to achieve this?
