That was Kurts first prototype of the Jagstang. He and a guy from Fender (I forget his name) put this thing together during the initial discussions with fender. It's actually a proper hybrid of the two guitars. Fender obviously rejected it as it's not what you want hanging on a wall at the local guitar shop. Fender then sacked the guy who had initially helped Kurt build it, and got a team together. That team consisted of Hannibal, Face, Murdoch and B.A., and the current design was made from a paper clip, an old rocking horse and the last few inches of a roll of tin foil. I also like the first prototype.
