Lol. Yeah. I have a bunch of saved searches on my eBay like "mustang guitar, jaguar guitar, musicmaster guitar, cyclone guitar, duosonic guitar, squier jaguar neck, bronco guitar, supersonic guitar, squier vista, etc." and I usually check it every few hours for new items listed. I usually catch stuff right away and score good deals this way. I recommend doing this to everyone here. Works great on eBay mobile. Haha.

Yep that! Not that stark white stuff: aged or creme.

"So. Would you guys recommend this tort/company http://bit.ly/Qkn8HG I know it would fit or this tort/company which the tort looks better but I don't know if it would fit this guitar. http://bit.ly/YQU8aE Has anyone ever bought red tort from either of these and have pictures they can share with me? Or know a better place to buy it. Thanks!"

I get my red tort from pickguardian. (He uses WD's nitro tort.) I plan on getting a parchment red tort guard from him once I get cash. (pickguardian.com)

Crap, I am glad you didn't say picguardian one more time because if that place is mentioned three times in the same thread, the un-holey beast is released upon us all.

So I just did a little experiment with the body. I chipped a small bit of black paint in a little spot and the finish under the black paint was clear coated wood. Meaning I was right about what I said about how they finished it. So no relicing. :) it's like they finished it in a natural finish then later on decided to make it a sunburst and finished overtop of the original. Pretty sweet.

I'm thinking tort with white switches and pickups the most. But red tort or brown? Anybody have any pictures of sunburst mustangs with tort? Also, how are the wd music red tort mustang guards? Anybody have one on here I can see a picture of?

WD is fine. It is the same supply that the aformentioned person I get mine from uses. :) (No unholy beast.)

Ha that's good. Do you think that would look good on this body or do you think it's too red?

Their red mint tort looks nice and vintage correct. Their red parchment tort looks more like aged vintage tort. :)

You would probably prefer red parchment then. It is lighter red.

That's a WD music guard. Lol. Is that guard any good? Because the price isn't bad and I know it will fit it.

There was that guy who posted about his vintage nitro tort replica, and pickguard cutting ... I think it got moved to the whorehouse maybe. I'd really like to see someone report back on that material. If it's truly like vintage tort then it may be worth a little extra money because vintage tort pisses on the modern repro stuff.. Just a thought.

Spitfire's work is excellent, but not cheap. Normally over $100 but he makes his own tortoise custom.

yeah, your body has more visible grain than mine. Are you going with white or black pickup covers?
