Another vote for Partsmaster.

Jaguar could be good too. Think deeply about which scale you prefer to use on a daily basis.

As someone who isn't afraid to damage a cheap guitar but is unwilling to spend much on a guitar in the likelihood that I dent it, I vote the Squier 51. Also, while I do love playing short scales, I find the 25.5" scale to be better all around.
