I'd have a series of rooms of different sizes constructed. And a cavern.

I've had a few reverb pedals and the only one I've really loved is the Electro-Harmonix Holy Grail Nano. It's got one knob for reverb. That's all it needs.

Digiverbs can be had pretty cheap and sound great. So long as you don't turn the mix past 50% (unless you enjoy a nice volume drop). I think one of my mates has the Behringer though, uses it with a synth and it sounds pretty good to me.

I love my RV-7 though, the spring setting sounds better than the verb in my Vubrolux 'custom' (need to do those Moyer mods I think).

I had the Danelectro one, but then I bought this and the Danelectro one is standing aside..
Really like the sounds this one makes but I think mostly its due to the size.. I have betrayed the tone !

I got this one too - if you want spring then look no further. One trick pony, but it sounds bloody good.

Short answer is NO, I don't think there is a better value reverb.

I have had the Behringer reverb for a few years now & have gigged recorded & rehearsed with it with no issues, build quality is fine.
The reverbs sound as good if not better than any other pedal around the £100 & under that I have tried over the years. If this is just for bedroom use why would you want to spend more?

i have one of these. there are a couple of settings that i really like and a bunch that i never really use. the build quality on mine isn't great - the housing is made of plastic which isn't really an issue for me as i'm not gigging it, but the pots aren't soldered on totally straight, so as you get further to the left along the row of knobs they get progressively stiffer as they get closer to full contact with the edge of the case. the mix knob is really stiff... not a huge issue but annoying as i fiddle with that one more than any other. probably going to take a needle file to it at some point.

overall though, it sounds good enough for the money that i think it's a decent purchase.

Chris, I'm (unsurprisingly) sold on the reverb Machine. I think it hits all the right buttons for my price point and home use. I can't get it until I shift some gear first though (MUST GET MY CLASSIFIEDS MOVING ALONG AND STOP SLACKING).

It demos alright, that's for sure. But I don't know. You may end up with one of the bad ones, and if you do, you'll probably never buy anything Behringer branded again.

When it comes to reverb, I would actually go for something "expensive". I've been experimenting with both "cheap" and "expensive" reverb pedals and the expensive ones ALWAYS come out on top.

The Strymon Blue Sky sounds totally fucking brilliant and the same goes for the EHX Cathedral. But they're both about 200-250 USD.

The Nano Grail sounds alright but is VERY limited. In comparison with the Holy Stain, which has two diffrent reverb modes, it falls short.

Well, I ordered the reverb machine (parents present to me for Xmas!) so should get it in a couple of days.

I've been lusting after real spring reverb too... Looking at the Sole mate reverb pedal ....

I think Sean bought one recently as well. Let us know what you think when you get it

Will do Chris. I suspect Sean will get deeper into than I ever will as my uses will likely be pretty basic. I just want some reverb on my stock amp sound, but of course all the other options will be fun to muck about with and see what come out.
