Silver Sparkle Jagmaster FINISHED Pg. 2

Post by HNB »

I am pretty impressed. It has some dents and dings, but is in pretty great shape. I love the glitter finish. I am thinking some metal humbuckers might be next to go in.

Oh man, those pick-worn scratches on the pickguard indicate that Robroe played it.

Dude wore a trench in my tele's pickguard in the same spot with his ALLPARTS picks.

Rob's picks are black, it must've been his Bizarro-type doppelganger.

Anti robroe types in all lowercase. :)

Whoever had it last was hardcore with a pick. Scratches from playing on the upper horn too.

Maybe used a high tech box knife pick style.

That actually does look pretty cool.

(Can't metal covered pickups be METAL pickups also?)

I was thinking of WRHB. :) (Maybe three of them to be hardcore.)

I would not have expected that combination to work. But it does.

I'm all for your chrome on black on sparkle plan, though, HNB.

I should have a little extra cash to go in to this guitar so that will be good. I just need to check and see if I would need to do any woodworking to get the pickups to fit.

I'm glad you finally got one. I wish I couldn't traded you, but I needed cash badly at the time. I was gonna put some authentic WRHB's in it...or make it a MetalMaster and drop a set of EMG's in it for teh brootz.

I picked up a set of WRHB. Unfortunately I won't be able to fit three in from the looks of it. The pickups are too big to fit three of them in a row. Two will look good though.

The bridge pickup is pretty weak. The neck is way loud. Makes me not upset to replace them. The action is very nice and low on this one. Intonated great.
