Got this in trade from h8mtv along with a cool phaser pedal he built. Right now it is custom and cool, but I think I will drop a PAF and Superdistortion in it. Also might pop it back to tort. I like that pickup combo a lot.

I'm probably in a tiny minority, but I've never been a fan of tort on burst, so I'd keep the white (and the lipstick pup). Whatever you do, though, keep that F plate.

I worked on changing the pots to 1meg's and putting everything on the tort guard. It is looking good! I shaved down one of the blocks a little so that the toggle could fit in the original place. I left the blocks in case I wanted to change it back. (I am reserving the F plate for one of my Jaguars.

By the way, I like the single mixed with a humbucker, but I have three Jag-Stangs with that setup, so I wanted to do an H H since I don't really have one of those.

(Trying to have variety for sound options.)

The SD came.

Looks good. I am glad I didn't have to do any sanding to get the F-Spaced pickup to fit. Just waiting on the neck pickup now.

Neck pickup came and I got straight to work. I really like the sound. It is just like I hoped. Action is super low without buzz which I really like. The black pickups on it look great to me. It is a really resonant body too. The strat tremolo has nice sustain. The heavy duty toggle is nice. Hard to bump it in to a different position by accident.
