DO IT!

Listen to the note separation. The sustain. The attack. Night and day difference from the old 57 classics. My shredding skills are getting rusty indeed, but i was so excited i couldnt be bothered to warm up. This also marks the first pickup installation ive done by myself.

Yes! Sounds great. Interesting that you have the blade towards the neck, on my Entwistle I have it nearer the bridge because the writing was that way up. No idea what difference it makes.

My experience from using Dimarzio is all good. I want to try them all. But my next will be SD humbucker and Andy Timmons humbucker!

Thanks! According to dimarzio, the pickup will sound warmer with the blade towards the neck. Have you ever tried flipping yours around??
