Ebay's got them selling at $355-900. Your price depends on condition and how quickly you want it to sell.

Remember, the economy is fucked right now, and a guitar is not a necessity.

Those guitars are rare. If its in good condition. Take at least 750-800 dollars for it. And do not sell it in a rush.

^This. Wish that I could find them for $355.00 I'd have one in every color.

I have one in every colour, plus a bonus one in coral, and the max I paid was $500. One was $299, the last one was $350.
Two were bought in Canada, three on eBeh. They all live in Canada now.
There is one in Winnipeg that I want to buy for the right price.

Man, wish I still had mine so I could sell it again, lol. I paid $200 back in 2001. Still have the neck from it though.

Man, that was one lucky bastard! Still not the usual going price for these anymore. I wouldn't sell it for less than $700.00. I bet that in a few more years we'll see these going for $1200.00 and I'll be wishing that I had been willing to part with $750.00 for one, but I continue to scour the local listings in hopes of finding one for under $500.00.

Sorry, mine's being put to good use, used it on my first lefty Mustang build 11 years ago. It's in the middle of getting an overhaul this winter!

I, too, would like a neck. I would build a hardtail body for it.
These are getting expensive, and I just keep chopping mine up. Wait 'til you see what I am doing to my white one. There will be no going back. I'm drilling holes.

Why not just extend the neck pocket out a little ways and put a standard 24" scale neck on it with a standard plate?

Well, that is no fun. That is too practical.
I really do like the SS necks. I would have to find a LH Mustang or Jaguar neck that felt the same. My 1970 Comp Mustang neck feels similar.

My first thought exactly. But then I thought that I was just being paranoid. Wouldn't be the first time.

Being left handed, I just bought it for the neck for my build back in the day- having no idea that the heel extended underneath the pickguard. So glad I hadn't cut my body shape out before I got the neck. There's gotta be someone here on the boards that would undertake the task of building a few SS necks I would think.

I built a Super Sonic body/pickguard template last week from a tracing Wade gave me. I laid a 24" scale neck on the template... drank a beer and smoked a shit load of cigarettes, trying to figure out what to do with the neck pocket.

Do you extend the pocket, use a normal 4 screw square neck plate neck pocket. But it takes away from the curves and uniqueness of the guitar.

Or extend the pocket out, keep the rounded shape, no neck plate, counter sink 3 screws for the neck.

I wouldn't even wanna try not extended the pocket, just seems like the neck wouldn't have enough ass to sit on.
