Just reviewed this site: www.musiccitypickers.com...which has some good prices on used & vintage gear...and found this 2002 CRAFTED IN JAPAN, FENDER COMPETITION MUSTANG in LAKE PLACID BLUE for $799.99.

I'm not affiliated with MCP and must qualify that I've not done business with MCP. This is purely an FYI for any who might be interested in following up.
