Looks like we may have seen all the interesting stuff. The guy over at OSG who first leaked the info/pics of the Squier VM offsets has just posted:
Vistavision@OSG wrote: This is looking to be a January that Fender seems to have cooled their jets a little after the SKU explosion of 2012. No new Squier (some NAMM very small special run Strats & Teles in diff colors & configurations. No offsets.), additions to the Pawn Shop line, Amer Select additions, 57 Bandmaster, Mustang amp V2's, the AV basses, and some acoustics. I'm sure I'm forgetting stuff.
Unless the stuff he's forgotten is a Squier XII or original spec Marauder

Wow that looks horrible. I am still trying to decide if I like white on my Sonic blue one. White on the other ones...yuck.
It works on sonic blue because of the contrast with the tort pickguard. That one definitely looks good IMO. These two don't seem "right" anymore. :/
The new pictures are on Fender.com.

meh, pickup covers aren't a big deal on single coils
however, if both were white that would be awesome

Wehh just buy a new pickup cover. They are just making them look like poop probably so they can just use all white covers to save time/money.

It's all curvy not like a usual box shaped piece.
Looks like a very similar shape to a bigsby conversation plate.
I like it.
The flange around the sides is a nice touch.
Doesn't reinvent the wheel, but is cool and different.

That's the bridge that this one should have, to match the cut of the guard:

So it doesn't have any sort of practical aspect? Only aesthetic?

the screws are the four things behind the saddles. it's pretty much the same as yr regular vintage tele plate.

Not fond on the fake bigsby bridge for some reason. It looks like when you see a front engined car with air intake style body details on the side as though it had its engine in the back or something. I can see absolutely no reason for it.
