No one else in the Bass VI Players group on Facebook has mentioned seeing or playing them.

Here's a shitty pic that is the best I could do since I didn't have anyone to hold the ruler for me while I snapped the pic. It looks a bit closer to 39mm in this due to the fact that I couldn't rest it completely on the fretboard, but I assure you, it's forty goddamn millimeters on the original Supersonic.

The fuck? Are you fucking serious?robroe wrote:i don't know about you but in first grade i was taught to never use the edge of a rule when measuring. always start at the 1 and subtract 1 from what ever your total is.
i figured anyone who ever used a ruler in their life already knew this?
EDIT: To indulge this stupid bullshit, here. I did another.

Some tape measures are like that since they have to leave room for the grip so it's hard to align... but that ruler is clearly intended to be read from the edge.robroe wrote:i don't know about you but in first grade i was taught to never use the edge of a rule when measuring. always start at the 1 and subtract 1 from what ever your total is.

I guess maybe if your ruler sees alot of rough use and the edges have somehow become dulled or rounded it may be a good idea to start from the 1 though.

I measured all five of my Super-Sonics. With digital calipers. 40mm. They are like Jazz basses vs. Precisions.
(I still think that Robroe was being pretty funny.)
The neck will be different, but it might be good different. I love the necks on Vintage Modified Tele Thinlines for some reason, and they are wider. I'm willing to try it out.
I just hope that they fail miserably and go on sale like the Squiers did for Xmas of 1998. A $700 was offered for $299. I bought my blue one then. I paid more for the three used ones than the two I bought new.
They really might be $800 worth of guitars. It depends on the quality of the electronics and whether I would need to swap stuff out.
It sounds good in the video.
I hope folks realize how small they are. Quite tiny.

A Whole Bunch of Guitars. Some with sparkles. Some with Pearl. Some with racing stripes.
