Thanks guys! The neck pickup is a mini humbucker of unknown origin. I think I got it from Cooterfinger? I forget. He thought it was a GFS or Eastwood pickup.

LOL My threads are often pic heavy.... :)

My internet is actually faster at work than at home, so I am lucky I guess. ;)

I am happy with the stain work. I think the tort on it helps contrast really well.

I am wiring up a mini humbucker to a mustang slider switch. It won't reverse phase. It is a two wire mini humbucker with a bare wire (ground) and white wire (hot). If I wire it correctly per a normal mustang, I get UP:On, MIDDLE:Off, DOWN: Kills all sound. I have double checked all my wiring and it is fine. I tried switching the hot and ground and all it did was reverse the sound killing. Up became no sound period, middle was still off, but down was on then.

Is there just something about this pickup that won't let it be reversed? Maybe because it is metal covered or should that not matter?

It is almost done. Wiring is basically done. I just need to figure out why the mini humbucker won't let me phase reverse it. It kills output when I try. Looks good. :)

I am really happy with the pickup sound. The neck pickup is really warm. The bridge on it's own isn't impressive to me, but I like the sound of them both together. :) It's a keeper.

I really don't like Jagstangs but that finish is fantastic. You did a great job on that.

For some reason the strings make it look better for that color combination. HOT.

Great work on that! I find that bridge pickups never really sound right on their own.

The bridge helps tone down the bass of the neck pickup when they are together. They ended up being a good combo. :)
