Funky.

Reminds me of a small shop brand I saw a decade or so ago called Joe's Guitars that had "Eat at Joe's" inlayed into the freboard, with real marbled diner-style formica tops and countertop "binding". Regretfully I know nothing more than what I saw in a catalog way back.

That's Dougk, he's a straight up traditional guitar builder. I hadn't seen him do stuff like this until now.

There's another guy over there that started out as an artist>guitar builder... but now is a great artist/builder. I forget his name, but he always does artistic finishes. At first I thought he built that guitar pictured above.

the countertop one is awesome
i dont like the more traditional designs as much but those are probably strong sellers

I love the JM/JR hybrid design itself, not sold on the Wes Anderson poster + gluestick vibe.
