"The Offset" Build 2

Post by Awstin »

I am basically going to build another Offset with a few small tweaks to make it better.

Changes include:
-contours
-hardtailed mustang vibrato
-3 way toggle for neck/bridge and a 2 way jag switch for the middle on and off
-different single coils

No idea what color except I wanna do a w/b/w guard again. Anyone have any suggestions for color
or to make it better?

Work has begun on the second one. I decided to go with Burgundy Mist but who knows that may change. Leave a suggestion. Body and pickguard is done. I am gonna use a squier Mustang neck on this one with a new custom logo HNB made for me. Just awaiting paint right now. It is in line behind the Swinger at the moment. It looks nice and feels nice with the contours. Really wish I did that with the first one. I think if I do a third one I am definitely adding a Jag trem but for now these locked mustang trems look and work amazingly.

You know that offset refers to the waist, right? And that a standard Mustang is already offset?

Yeah I know but it's really not noticeably offset. At least in my opinion. I was originally just going for a more offset mustang and didn't have a name for it so I just called it the "Mustang Offset" but it just turned in Yo a really cool major offset looking mashup. So I'm just gonna go with "The Offset" now.

I'm guessing the plate is stainless steel?

It's a custom cut Stereordinary (Paul Rhoney) plate. He's the one that makes all the awesome custom plates for those that don't know.
