New Boss Pedals and Roland Amp

Post by Thom »

To be revealed at NAMM, or early in their email most people probably get...

TE-2 Tera Echo

MO-2 Multi Overtone

DA-2 Adaptive Distortion

Would quite like to give them all a go.

The cube lite looks like their version of the Yamaha THR range, I wonder how the prices will compare.

I like the MO-2... kinda chorus-y, but not...

The Demos of the pedals seem really old hat, and antique... yet the amp demo seems to be trying to be like a mobile phone commercial. Can't see enough of it though, which is quite bad... and the pedals seem only half way there in terms of development... if you're gonna do a demo like this do it at it's best, and if this is it... then I for sure wont be buying.

Good to see John 5 though

Maybe it's just me but wouldn't Boss be better of showcasing the products they're trying to sell rather than a very manly voice over?
Vad skönt för en skald att få sova.

Boss could do with watching some Pro Guitar Shop demos. These are just embarrassing.

The pedals? Meh. Weston Super Meh.

They've done a really good job of not demonstrating/describing what these pedals do. I am a bit intrigued by the Tera Echo and Overtone pedal though. Do you think the Overtone will be an updated VB2?

The MO-2 is intrigueing but the TE-2 is the one i would pick.
Not great demo's at all, especially considering John 5 playing.

Lol, Duke Nukem on the voiceover

The MO-2 looks like it has psuedo Micro-POG capabilities with a detune function.. interesting. Too bad all of their voiceover 'copy' sounds like it's been poorly translated from a different language and is yet still full of horrible bullshit clichés.. it feels more like a parody than anything.

WOW, IT'S GOOD FOR MODERN MUSIC?? NICE TRY, 50 YEAR OLD AD EXEC DUDE!
