i don't even know how many dumbles actually exist, but i don't think very many.

But seriously Robben Ford uses a Zendrive into a Fender amp rather than touring with a Dumble and he thinks it sounds more or less the same.

I don't care how it sounds, no amplifiers is unique enough to warrant that amount of money.
Oh no only a few were made! Big fucking deal. Get close enough ata fraction of the price.

I don't really get it. The most expensive amp I've ever played was a Mesa Boogie of some sort that cost approximately 4500 dollars, that's roughly 3500 euros, and it didn't really sound all that great, I mean not 4500 dollar/3500 euro great.

Is there no-one knocking out Dumble clons from kits? You always hear about Marshall 18-watter and such, but I've never heard of a Dumble clone or kit.

I've never bothered looking, mind.
