UPDATE: $250. Fuck that shit, that's more than the originals change hands for.
the circuit itself is kind of shrouded in mystery as the original circuit was encapsulated so no schematics exist, similar to a fuzzrite but with a tone control.
the cases probably cost a lot more than the parts in the circuit.
i must admit i am tempted, at least to get a schematic drawn up hehe!
