Affinity Teles are pretty alright too, since Teles are solid guitars when taken care of. Kinda hard to fuck it up since it's so simple.

My Affinity Tele is fine. The first sign of quality for a noob is the fret ends, mine are super smooth. The action is fine, I replaced the electronics but then I like to tinker more than I like to play. Some Telecaster guys dislike the thin body but it takes all the full sized pots and switches. It's a decent wood, alder, and it's very light.

listen up, brosephs, I never said that CV weren't better than MIM std. But when you can pickup a MIM standard for $200 bucks on craigslist, it's a great guitar for the money.

I'm not saying CV aren't great guitars but to ignore the MIM stds is stupid, they're great guitar and with a pickup change they're just as nice as a lot of MIA stds.
