Linux Guitar Effects

I've been putting a rig together to do some looping and rhythmic/time-based effects based around my AdrenaLinn and the SooperLooper application. My guitar signal chain is split with one branch hitting the AdrenaLinn and one going into the computer. As I'm splitting before the Amp modelling stage, my computer chain is sounding a bit wank so I've been looking for some Linuix based Amp/Effects modelling software. I've come across Guitarix which looks good and there's a list of other options here.

Anyone got any experience/other suggestions they want to share? Thanks
