Not sure what the deal is with the delay time being controlled by a slider. Seems like an odd gimmick actually. *shrugs*

Personally, I'm starting to look towards devices that emulate a tape- rather than Bucket brigade-type of analogue delay, but I can imagine a few people making some cool noises with these. Every time I read an analogue delay-themed thread, owners of the Ibanez units say they don't get enough love in the gearhead community.

The 1000ms delay time is impressive though; more than the Carbon Copy, Aqua Puss, AD9, etc. That's up there with the EXH stuff. Interesting indeed.

I dig it. The slider controlling the delay time reminds me a lot of the Danelectro Reel Echo. Just finished reading the manual and it looks pretty cool. Do want.

I like it. Not least because it's a lovely match for my white MoogerFooger.

The features do seem very similar to the Dano Reel Echo but possibly better in execution. I love my Reel Echo but it's MASSIVE and there's no modulation or wheeee noises when changing the time slider, which can either be very useful or annoying. This doesn't have the loop function but does have a tap tempo, which is more useful anyway.

Ibanez echos are apparently really good anyway? I don't mind them updating it and sticking it in a classier box.
