That is really interesting. As long as all of that is true, it's a nice history lesson on paints.

A fascinating and in-depth read indeed...thanks for sharing. All I knew beforehand was the fact that Fender used DuPont colours. A friend of mine pointed out once that all those cool 'custom' colours simply came from cars. I found it a bit funny...but whaddaya know. They actually do.
