built in tube screamer? interesting. It probably sounds pretty decent. Looks nice too.

I'd quite like one of these if theres a footswitch option for the tubescreamer. But currently got my eyes on a Vox AC4.

I'm pretty sure it's a vintage voiced amp. I would have preferred a built in AC booster

Made in China + Ibanez isn't exactly known as an amp maker = Cheap and cheerful.

I've played through one of these before, and if I were in the market, I wouldn't hesitate buying one.

I've heard really good things about these amps, plus they have some cool switching settings and work with loads of different variations of guitar cabs. Apparently they're not too loud though but the headroom is good.

Its really versatile, and it looks good.. Ibanez has a good name, the tube screamer is sweet..
But why is it 300$ while a Orange Tiny Terror is 600$, twice the price but the specs, quality, place where they are both manufactured look really (to my eye,as far as I know) similar.

@ mkt3000 , oh I thought Orange makes theirs too in China, but they are manufactured in UK, ok.. maybe theres a difference..
I think Ill go and buy it.. (need to get a nice cab now, any suggestions?)

Probably 'cause the Orange is an Orange. Ibanez amps have never been expensive, the solidstate 100-watt TB100H head + 4x12 package was like 500 or 600 bucks.

I've never really considered Tiny Terrors to be a good deal in the States. Shit's expensive for what it is.

They do. That's why it's $600 and not $1500.

So Im thinking of getting this - Combo Ibanez TSA15

It comes with all the same outs as the 'head' version..
It sounded just great at the guitar store and there i could only try out the 5w setting, and it was pretty damn loud, the 15w setting could be pretty crazy.
The OD was super.. I tried it with the CV Telecaster, was amazed.

You think its a OK buy,the comb has a 12" speaker ? Or getting the head/cab separate version would be smarter, sound 'bigger' etc (the store dosnt have one, I should need to wait, but I dont have the patience) ?

I love mine AC4 combo, and now Im getting this combo !!
It sounded so nice ! My hands are shaking, im high on ibanez..right now..

I read some forums and I understood that the amp has this 'transistor' part that is the Tube Screamer and the Boost part,
but those are 'totally bypassed' if turned off, right ?
