Hey guys sorry to necro a 3 month old thread especially for my first post but... Been trying to figure out what GFS to put in my Tele to replace my GFS Hot Lil Puncher, and stumbled across this vid yesterday and right when I heard that surfy East Bay Ray tone Im pretty sure Im going with the Fatbody..

Now I just had a quick question for Fran (or whoever now owns that blue Esquire..) which Fatbody was that?? Is that the regular one or the 10k one?? I know the link is for the 10K but everyone only calls it a Fatbody so I just wanted to make sure before I went ahead and ordered one..

T'was the 10k one I believe. Ah I fucking miss that guitar. The only Telecaster that compares is my best mate's Fenix one.

I'm gonna say that I fucking love my G&L ASAT Classic MFD as a bridge pickup.

For Christmas my friend snuck out my tele and redid it as a gift. It came out fantastic. The two things that really made a difference were the pickups and the bridge. He put me classic vibe customs and tossed the stock fender ones and he put a 3 barrel brass saddle bridge. It's unreal the difference. It's like the tone control actually works now to where i can really hear a difference. My problem with teles were that they sounded to me like strats without as many options. Now this one sounds different than a strat and i love it. It's my favorite right now. I was going to get rid of it and he saved it. I love the p-ups!

Wasn't it some GFS 13k output mother, I loved the way it could growl. Lots of fun in that guitar and miss it sometimes

Robroe confirms 10k on first page
