My Jaguar Clarence
Here's a few pics of my latest creation. Started life as a Vintage Modified Squier in Candy Apple Red. I wanted to pay a small tribute to the man behind Fender - Clarence Leonidas himself.
Here's the specs:
Warmoth neck w/ custom decal, Warmoth bridge, AllParts pickguard, Jap Jag trem. Sprayed using auto paint I had mixed from the local shop. Blue has a slight metallic in it.
I've been playing it for about 2 months now and it just keeps getting better. Really happy with how this turned out. Hope you all like.

New Squier Vintage Modified = $289speedfish wrote:Well done. Love the maple fretboard. What was your total cost for the build if you don't mind my asking?
Warmoth Neck = $310
Warmoth Bridge = $49
Pickguard = $29
Jap Trem (ebay) = $21
Paint, tape, etc... = $28
Total = $726
After selling extra parts = $559
Sold original neck (ebay) - $118
Sold original bridge (ebay) -$19
Sold original trem (ebay) - $18
Sold original pickguard (ebay) - $12
Took me roughly 3 months from start to finish (6 weeks for the Warmoth neck to be built/shipped alone).
I knew I would never get what I invested back but still a lot less $$ than an American Anniversary edition @ $1700. Best part was that I built something completely customized to my exact spec's and I think it plays better than the American versions.
