i mean it's fucking mint, but that doesn't mean they can charge so much. the only kind of person i can see buying this is at that price is a rabid collector.

Market defines price

People pay more ridiculous sums for other pedals.

The Analogman King of Tone is just a Marshall Bluesbreaker

I saw a Marshall Drivemaster up Denmark Street a while back marked up at £145. Had a right little laugh to myself. They probably confused it with the Shredmaster.

They're still cunts mind.

Let's get some MBM ones in this store.

"MadeByMike Green =MUFF= : Sounds like the Sovtek but better.. better made.. amazing aftersales support.. 1/3 of the price."

I think they they saw "SovTek" and assumed it was soviet because they're lazy fucks who couldn't bother getting their shit right.

Thats a "tall font" early green Russian Muff and people will pay that for it. I've sold many Russian Muffs on ebay to people who were very willing to shell out ridiculous prices :)

I own this type of green muff. i love it and i think it sounds great and unique but i bought it for about 30€ new in the 90s...

I like my mbm '78ic muff as much as the green muff and i think a musician (not a collector) can get the better deal by mike 8)

The only reason they can have that pricetag is due to the fact that some people can't use the fucking Internet...

I really like my EQD Hoof Fuzz, and I picked that up for just over $100 Australian.
Sounds great, doesn't have any of the typical Muff (in my opinion) shortcomings, well made and is a lovely orange.

It would be fun to mess around with a vintage muff though...

I'm quite tempted by the Hoof, but I'm on the search for a muff that can do palm mute chords so I'm in the process of building a DIY Triangle clone. Have your tried the Hoof alongside other EHX reissues to see how it compares with those?

I always wanted a Bass Big Muff for the clean blend, which I haven't seen on any other Muff clones.

Yes, Ive always liked that feature.. Now I need to find a similar pedal, but this is a crazy price !
(And in soviet times the bands here used mostly import pedals, if at all.. in latvia some good amps where made thou')

i saw that bass muff at the 2010 namm show and talked to a rep about it. she didn't know shit from a broomstick handle and you couldn't hear or try ANYTHING out, i was rather furious with her. but in reality i got snubbed alot from other booths for having the dwarfcraft "E" pass. i think they were actually kinda of intimidated or they thought we were just some idiots from the great white north that couldn't possibily know what we were doing.
i still want to try one tho. and then make a horrible demoing bitching about the cunt face at the winter namm show.
