A recreation of the original universe? Yes damn please. Don't know how I'd get on with seven strings though, I kinda struggle with 6

i briefly owned the original version. The blaze pickups are really good. They have a bit of a mid scoop which gives the guitar a very clean sound.

Yeah, my jem actually sounds really nice clean. I'm always surprised how low output the 80s PAFs are compared to modern shredders pickups.

Love it. I'd a lend of a 7-string RG for a year or so when I was 17. I didn't really realise at the time how much I liked it, but I've missed it quite a bit since the guy took it back.

Always left me hankering after a 7-string showmaster or similar. Or some sort of 7-string custom Jagmaster with a Floyd on it. Or that 7-string Epi LP. Or another RG.

Which jem do you have!??!!? I once owned a 777LNG which i miss dearly, but my current dream guitar is a Jem77 desert yellow!!!!

That's some great playing man! The neck pick sounded great on the sweeps.

Mine's a '88 77FP. My wife got me it as my 30th birthday present. And for my 40th she's going to take me to Japan!

To be fair I don't do it justice, but I enjoy playing melodic stuff on it (badly  )

The first 7-string I ever saw was an original JEM in this exact scheme, on Guitar Center's secondhand wall around 1997. My brother wanted it so bad.
